Pre-season: Gliders Pressured for Points - CABJ 1-1 FC Twentie

CABJ were made to wait for the possibility of a higher place in the Pre Season League after a draw against FC Twenty last Saturday. The draw still puts them as the last in the group with only 1 point.

On a breezy evening at Setia Alam, CABJ made a good start with pinpoint passes, solid defending and quick break attacks. Despite that, the game was also a little too tense for both teams due to the CABJ carrying the pressure of sustaining points for the Pre Season League.

In the 11th minute of the game Ikram Al Rasyid fired a high cross shot to Azrul Raimie who beated the offside trap and through the FC twenty goalkeeper, bringing CABJ to lead 1 - 0 in the first half.

Come second half, CABJ started off shaky. It took a couple of brilliant saves by Zaid Zainal to deny Twenty FC struggles to score but not for long, as Twenty FC scored a goal in the 65th minute before the final whistle blows. Final score CABJ – 1 FCT – 0.

“Learn to take pressure in the field. Have confident when you take control of the ball. Have confident.” CABJ Assistant Manager, Brian Nathan
