CABJ-lahh: Lend A Helping Hand @ Rumah Orang Tua-Tua Al-Ikhlas, Puchong

On an early morning dated 3rd December 2011, some CABJ members and players participated in an initiative by Masjid Bukit Jelutong in conjunction with the Jom Subuh Program visiting an old folks home at Puchong.

Carrying its program name "masih ada sayang" (there are still those who cares) CABJ merged with a few other community from Bukit Jelutong amounting two buses and 5 cars. CABJ is delighted to be part of this program in lending a helping hand to the Rumah Orang-Orang Tua Ikhlas at Puchong.

The objective of the program which started around 9:30 am was to clean and arrange the stocks of food and medical supplies in a cabinet neatly, to organized the common area and to spend time with them by listening and giving the old folks company.

It was an unforgttable experience for some of CABJ members who participated in the program as it was very moving to hear the life stories and condition of the old folks staying there.

CABJ plans to set this as a benchmark to start a stand-alone community outreach initiatives and to come on board in any other community services in other clubs / organizations / associations within the community of Bukit Jelutong in future.
