Pre Season League Quarterfinal (CABJ vs PJ Cops) : This is Just a Beginning to a New Challenge

CABJ’s journey in the Pre Season league ended in the quarterfinals. Gliders kept their heads up knowing that although the quarterfinals were their last match in the Pre Season League, but the road taken by them to where they were in their last stop was incredibly a winding road of pressure, commitment and teamwork.

The game against PJ Cops was an uneasy one as they were leading in the first 5 minutes of the game, when CABJ scored a goal by Fendi Amir.

A mistake that could not be avoided, is when a ball slipped through a defenders boot that would lead to an own goal for the opponent. That was what happened during the game against PJ COPS. An own goal that tied up the score to CABJ 1 - PJ COPS - 1, 5 minutes before the game ended.

The penalty round for CABJ was upsetting as only Khairul scored and the rest were saved by PJ Cops Goal keeper. Through this journey of hope, winning and losing, it was a very sad ending, but a glorious experience for CABJ.

However the team knew that they have put in their best during the game and also the games before. Heads up gliders, a champ still through many eyes of the Bukit Jelutong Residents and CABJ Supporters.

Pre Season League Knockout Round (CABJ vs Melawati 87) : Sun Shiny Morning for CABJ

The knockout round of the Pre Season league was a match between CABJ vs Melawati 87. During the first half of the match both teams secured a goal of each (CABJ (1) M87 (1) which took both team to an uneasy state of mind. Syed Mohd Syaril scored the first goal for CABJ during the first half of the match.

The second half, Melawati 87 made a foul in the penalty box led CABJ to a penalty kick. The penalty was taken by Khaliq Raof however left us in an upsetting moment as it was saved by Melawati 87.

Minutes later another foul by melawati 87 in the penalty box again. Imran Mazli gave an outstanding penalty kick and brought CABJ leading the game. (score CABJ-2 M87-1)

Melawati 87 passed through the offside trick by CABJ and scored drew the scoreboard to CABJ 2 – M87 – 2

Regardless how both team tried to defend their goal posts, the game between CABJ and M87 must ends with one team as the winner to qualify to the next round. As the the whistle blows marks the end of the game, a penalty shoot out  were set and CABJ brought home victory after scoring 3 goals ahead and Melawati 87 with only 2 goals.

Thumbs up to our very own Goalkeepeer Zaid Zainal for an outstanding save and also other scorers which includes Khaliq Raof whom showed no fear to take the penalty shoot out again after failing to score during an opportunity earlier from a foul by Melawati 87. His shoot during the penalty shootout was attested by his confidence and fearless attitude that brought CABJ to earn points and led to a victorious end.


Well done CABJ, they are now qualified to the quarterfinals against PJ Cops on new years eve this coming 31st December 2011.

The victorious day ended with a winning feast at An-nurs Kafe, Bukit Jelutong Shah Alam.

FRIENDLY CABJ vs BrightStar : A Group Effort for SEVEN in One Game

Record breaker, Ameer Aizat

CABJ’s forward Ameer Aizat has broken a goal scoring record after scoring FOUR goals in a game against Brightstar FC recently.The young and talented player took no rest after he rose on multiple opportunities in the field leaving no chance of mistakes during the friendly match.

The friendly match against Brightstar was held at stadium mini shah alam with a final score of CABJ -  7 Brightstar - 1

Scorers also includes our Midfielder, Khaliq Raof who has shown tremendous progress from past matches. Adly Saifullah and Fendi Amir both who are still one of the best players in CABJ.

Lets hope the knockout match match against Melawati 87 in the upcoming Pre Season League this 25^{th Dec} will be another record to break. Well done Gliders! 

Pre Season League : "Play it Easy When its Sunny" (CABJ - 2 FCT - 1)

"Play it easy when its sunny. Pass the ball to each other and dont tire yourself when the weather is hot." says Safrizal, CABJ Coach during his brief to CABJ in the second half on the game against FC Twentie

After the lost against FC Pisang, CABJ managed to fight its way up to the quarter final round from a glorious win against FC Twentie in its last game (week 6) in the preliminary round of the Pre-Season League.

Gliders had only one reason to stay under the hot sun at Setia Alam field that day, to WIN.

Relieved faces and smiles were seen in each gliders as they shake their hands with the opponents and walk out of the field. With a total of 7 points in the Subang/Shah Alam Zone, ranking second after Pisang FC, CABJ is now qualified to the quarter final round which will be held on Christmas day (25^th DEC) 8:00 am at Setia Alam.

Pre - Season : Fans Glide Together (CABJ - 1 Pisang FC - 8)

Again, it was a lost for CABJ in its second round of game against Pisang FC in the Pre-Season League week 5. In their first round of match against each other, CABJ was thrashed badly with an atrocious play by the team.

 However during their second round against Pisang FC recently, especially on the first half they played brilliantly letting Pisang FC to only score two in the first half. Not to mention a beautiful goal by Azrul Raimie that threatened Pisang FC to give in a tougher play for CABJ in the second half hence the 6 goals that took CABJ by a surprise.
