SETIA ALAM CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2014: CABJ vs Terrapins FC

Final Score: CABJ 1 - 1 Terrapins FC

Scorer: Dzul Rahim (Free kick)

MOTM: 1. Dzul Rahim
              2. Ahmed Barakat

After collecting 3 straight wins from 3 games, CABJ are up against Terrapins FC who managed to get 2 wins and a draw. Terrapins FC is in the second position in the Group B table. They managed to beat our league and FA Cup champion, Southern FC with a 4-1 scoreline. This shows that Terrapins FC is indeed a very strong team.

Sunday afternoon in Setia Alam was tremendous. The weather was nice and the field was in superb condition. The atmosphere at Setia Alam was great as everyone want to watch it live, the clash of the titans if it were to be called. CABJ vs Terrapins FC managed to entertain everyone in Setia Alam.

First half of the match, there’s a slight change in the formation as few players can’t make it on time and so our manager, Amin Helmy had to rearrange the formation. Few players got to play different role as to cover up the players that didn’t managed to be on time. With this issue solved, we witnessed a slight bad display. Somehow the performance affected the scoreline as Terrapins FC took full advantage and scored the opening goal. The goal was an error made by CABJ's no. 4 Imran Mazli, by setting the ball to the opponent right in front of the goal who then unleashed a powerful shot into the top of the net. Nothing that Ahmed (Ajmal replacement) can do about it. We were trailing a goal to nil in the first half.

On to second half, Terrapins FC kept on controlling the possession with their fluid passes. However, later on CABJ showed a better game-play as they managed to find their rhythm. Few attempts helped us to get our equalizer. The goal came from Ameer Aizat as he managed to control the ball that he received, he then dribbled pass the defenders and won a freekick at the edge of opponent’s penalty box. Dzul Rahim unleashed a fierce freekick with power and accuracy into the top of the net. Terrapins FC’s goalkeeper stood still as there’s no way he can stop that powerful shot. After the equalizer, the game changed to end-to-end attack on both teams. Both teams had few clear chances but didn’t managed to score.

The match ended with a draw of 1-1 scoreline. Even with insufficient players, CABJ managed to get a draw from their nearest opponent in the standing. Kudos to Ahmed Barakat as the replacement keeper for keeping the opponent's attack on bay with some stringent saves to prevent the team from loosing. Also to our scorer Dzul Rahim as he scored the equalizer. Looking forward to our next game which is against My ManUtd, which of course is another tough opponent.

SETIA ALAM CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2014: CABJ vs Kingstay FC

Final score: CABJ 4 - 2 Kingstay

scorer:
1. Ruffie (Penalty)
2. Rashyad (assisted by Affendi)
3. Azrul Raimie (assisted by Rashyad)
4. Ruffie (assisted by Azrul Raimie)

CABJ collected 6 solid points for SACL 2014. 2 wins with 0 goal conceded. Looking to continue our winning streak against Kingstay FC. Kingstay FC is a new club formed by the players that formerly played for Padang Bulat. CABJ continued the winning way and collected yet another valuable 3 points for the third game in SACL.

With very little players’ turnout, CABJ have to fully utilize all the players that were available for the game against Kingstay. The game had a slight delay as the entry point to Setia Alam was blocked by a trailer, that caused the road to be congested. Also, the weather was indeed nice for a football game.

Moving on to the first half of the match, CABJ controlled the game with great short passes and created many chances of attack. Few of the attacks were easily handled by Kingstay’s defence. A quick counter attack from Kingstay made CABJ concede very early in the match. Kingstay keep on defending and they created another counter attack that resulted to another goal. CABJ winning streaks looked to be in jeopardy.

Losing two goals in the first half, CABJ must do something to turn up the scoreline in their favour. Every CABJ players keep their heads on the game to make sure that they win this game. After awhile, Affendi’s throw in found Azrul Raimie who dribbled passed few Kingstay’s defenders but was ended with Kingstay’s last man tackled him in the box which gave CABJ the penalty. This is the turning point for CABJ which started off the goal scoring galore. Ruffie stepped up and took the penalty superbly which passed through the goalkeeper with a very powerful shot. First half ended with a scoreline 2-1.

Second half commenced, few minutes after that, Imran's long ball found Affendi on the right side of the wing. Affendi dribble passed Kingstay’s left back and set an easy tap in for Rashyad. 2-2, Rashyad scored the equalizer which improved the team's confidence to continue to attack. Third goal didn’t came long, as Azrul Raimie got his reward after he helped the team to revive. Ball from Fazreen Aziz to Rashyad was beautifully taken. Rashyad dribbled passed Kingstay’s right back and cross it to Azrul Raimie who then again, easily tap in passed the goalkeeper. 3-2 to CABJ.

CABJ’s midfielders done excellently in the middle of the park to cut off Kingstay’s attack and provide through balls to the attackers. After that, Azrul Raimie yet again provided a superb cross from the right flank to Ruffie for a simple tap in.

Final score, 4-2. Excellent team display and mental strength shown by CABJ that ensured they stay on top of the table with 9 points from 3 games. Looking forward for the next game against our neighbour, TTDI Jaya FC.

SETIA ALAM CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2014: CABJ vs Cranc FC

Final Score:
CABJ 3-0 Cranc FC

Scorer: Raizo, Raimie (2)
Assist: Raimie, Ikram, Ameer Aizat

This was the second game for CABJ in the SACL league. It was a perfect start for CABJ as they managed beat Cranc FC by 3 goals to nil. Also kudos to CABJ's defence as they were rock solid and didn't concede any goal for two games in a row.

The pitch was in terrible condition to play due to the rainy season. It was very muddy in most area of the pitch. Nevertheless, game on. CABJ started the first half with keeping the ball possession and attack at the same time. Attack after attack, CABJ drew first blood. The goal came from Raizo as he was in the right spot to slot home the first goal. CABJ leads a goal to nil.

Second goal was from Azrul Raimie as he received a fine through pass from Ameer Aizat and scored. We were leading two nil in the second half. Later on, the game became more aggressive. The opponent pushed hard for a goal, but CABJ hold their ground in defense.

As the game continues, CABJ managed to counter attack with a superb through ball from Ikram that found Azrul Raimie as he scored with a cool finish. Three nil the scoreline. After that, there was only 3 minutes left to play as indicated by the referee. But one of our defenders, Raizo was booked a second yellow card after an exchange of heated conversations between him and the opponent. The sending off shouldn't occurred as it was a silly mistake made by Raizo.

Nonetheless, job's done and we're looking forward for the next game against Kingstay FC. Hawushh!!

p/s: sorry for the late update. hehe ;)

SETIA ALAM CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2014: CABJ vs Seven90's

After finishing third place in Munro Cup, CABJ has been awarded to play in Setia Alam Champions League (SACL) despite being third place in Liga Sentral Selangor. Being awarded to play in this big tournament is such a great feeling and CABJ didn’t disappoint with a win in the first match against Seven 90’s. The final score is 2-0 in favour of CABJ with goals came from Akif and Affendi.

It was a great weather on Sunday evening. The condition of the pitch isn’t what we expected from the weather. It was bad as there were matches played on Saturday. Despite the bad condition, CABJ managed to control the ball throughout the entire match. After losing on a friendly match against Seven 90’s the week before, CABJ was in a menacing mood to go all out attack.

In the first half of the match, both still in good condition which saw attack on both ends. Some moments of scared when Seven 90’s managed to create a counter attack leaving the striker one by one with CABJ’s no 1. The excellent pair of hands of Wan Ajmal saved the day countless times with a great stop. CABJ attacks looked more promising. Chances for Affendi, Azrul Raimie, Ameer Aizat, Ikram Al-Rashid, Imran and Akif all were blocked or slightly off target. First half ended 0-0.

Second half commenced, attack after attack, finally Azrul Raimie had been fouled just outside the penalty box. The freekick was perfectly placed at Ahmed Barakat path who headed the ball direct to the goalkeeper, and fortunately the rebound was tapped in by CABJ’s centre back, Akif who scored CABJ’s first goal. After the goal, CABJ continued to control the match with a lot of possession. Not long after that, CABJ get the second goal after Syed Sharil through pass was perfect for Affendi to burst into space who took out Seven 90’s defenders with his pace. A simple tap into the net was clearly enough to secure the second for CABJ.

Match ended 2-0. Special mention to CABJ’s two powerhouse, Dzul Rahim and Imran Mazli who did very well in the midfield. Stopping the attack and providing great balls were the key factors on CABJ’s success. Looking forward to CABJ’s second match in SACL. Hawushh!!

MUNRO INVITATIONAL FOOTBALL CUP 2014 (3rd Placing): CABJ vs Real Diva

CABJ VS Real Diva (3rd Place match for Munro Cup 2014)

After CABJ failed to win their semi-final match against Southern FC, we were set to play against Real Diva who defeated Subang FC in their semi-final match. Real Diva prove to be the ‘Dark Horse’ in this tournament as no one expected them to reach this far.

The semi-final match against Real Diva was played at UiTM’s Sport Complex. The weather is nice for a football match since throughout this year end, Malaysia will experience rainy weather. The field was superb. Unlike the one CABJ played at 3K when it’s rain.

The match kick-off. Both teams played well. Controlling the ball. Passing around but there are no real chances in front of the goal. Late in the first half, Real Diva took their opportunity to score a goal after a scramble in front of CABJ penalty box after a free kick given to them. Unfortunately, CABJ's no 4, Imran Mazli intention to clear the ball was unlucky since the ball flew into the net and beating Wan Ajmal. A superb own goal by our no 4. First half Real Diva lead 1-0.

In the second half, CABJ kept on attacking but Real Diva’s defends was very stubborn and solid as they used experience centre back who controlled firmly the backline. All of the attacks was held by their two experienced centre back. Ungku Nazrin, CABJ striker who played centre midfielder role that day took the opportunity that was given to him after Imran Mazli road to redemption was again blocked. Rebound ball was straight away striked by Ungku Nazrin from long range to beat Real Diva’s goalkeeper. The match ended 1-1 as both teams didn't manage to find the winning goal.

According to Munro Cup rules, there is no extra time given after a draw. The referee called both captains and told them that penalty kick will decide who wins the 2nd runner up of Munro Cup.

CABJ Penalty takers:
1.       Ikram Al-Rashid (Missed)
2.       Imran Mazli
3.       Norrizal Wazir
4.       Ahmed Barakat
5.       Rashyad
6.       Ameer Aizat
7.       Affendi

Real Diva’s first kicker missed the penalty which was saved by our outstanding Wan Ajmal who did saved few of Real Diva’s shots. Unfortunately, Ikram Al-Rashid, CABJ’s captain also missed the first kick. Then the penalty shoot-out come to an end after the referee decided sudden death penalty. Luckily CABJ get to kick the ball and Real Diva need to keep it out the net. Affendi took the last penalty which sealed CABJ as 2nd runner up of Munro Cup.

Hawushh!!

MUNRO INVITATIONAL FOOTBALL CUP 2014: CABJ vs Southern FC

Result: CABJ 1 - 2 Southern FC

Stats:-
Goal scorer: Ruffie

Venue of the game was at Setia Alam, The game kicked off at 5:30 p.m.

Finally, the long awaited clash between CABJ and Southern has emerged. Southern was among the elite teams that made it through to the Semis, and the winner of this game will definitely go to the Finals. The atmosphere before the game was very tense because both teams needed the win in order to qualify for the Finals.

Early in the first half, both teams were very cautious in their gameplay as they don't want to make mistakes that can cost them the game. Also, Southern showed no intention to press CABJ as CABJ managed to hold on the ball possession. After a while, the game looked to be more open and both teams started to attack on both ends. But eventually, it was Southern's luck as they broke the deadlock in the midst of half time. The goal came from a corner kick as the ball curled directly into the nearpost unguarded by our defender. The goal was a blunder, as it was the defender's duty to clear the ball but didn't manage to. Southern lead a goal to nil right before half time.

During the interval, the coach told us to put in more aggression and determination into the game as we were chasing a goal down. Some changes were made and second half continues.

During second half, CABJ put more effort in their attack thus making Southern on their toe whilst defending. Their defensive backline was busy throughout the second half as CABJ looking for the equaliser. Later, we managed to get a penalty and it was converted by Ruffie. 1-1 the scoreline, and CABJ were looking for the winning goal. But again, luck was on Southern's side as they scored the winning goal late in the game that was finished by their target man Chris. Unlucky day for CABJ...

Final scoreline CABJ 1 - 2 Southern FC.

Result: CABJ 2 - 1 USJ FT

Stats:-
Goal scorer: Azrul Raimie, Rasyad

Venue of the game was at 3K Subang Jaya, The game kicked off at 3:30 p.m.
Due to heavy rain, the field was in a very bad condition, mud all over the place. Nevertheless, the match must continue unless lightning strikes the referee will end the game as it was dangerous to play.

Early in the first half, CABJ got an early freekick. It was taken by Azrul Raimie and he managed to score a beautiful goal from that spotkick. After a while, the game gotten more physical and some dangerous 'accidents' occurred. Since the pitch was in bad condition, both teams didn't played well and struggled to play with their normal short passes.

Right before the stroke of halftime, USJ FT managed to score from a counter attack. Their striker sets the ball in the middle for their right wing to shot and the ball hit Akif and Ajmal that resulted a goal.

During the last minute of the match, CABJ got freekick outside the penalty box, which resulted in a goal. Ikram took the freekick that was saved by their goalie which rebounded to Rasyad to tap in the second and winning goal. Hawuushhh!!!

MUNRO INVITATIONAL FOOTBALL CUP 2014 : CABJ vs Nossa FC

Result: CABJ 3 - 1 Nossa FC

Goal scorer - Norrizal, Ahmed Barakat & Affendi
Assist by - Dzul Rahim

Bukit Jelutong derby match! Round of 16 (Munro Cup) witnessed the match of two Bukit Jelutong’s home grown team fight head to head for the first time ever. CABJ vs Nossa FC. After the hyped about how well Nossa FC played, we managed to get our head into the game and winning it by 3-1.

With a fairly complete squad of CABJ, our main objective is just to win the match and go through to the quarter final of Munro Cup which we will be up against Terrapins FC or USJ FT. In the first half of the match, both teams looked impressive. Beautiful passes and movement made the game look interesting. After all, football is a beautiful game. Nossa FC attacks was stopped by our solid backline and Ajmal doesn’t have much action to do. CABJ’s attacks look more promising with the pace of Ameer Aizat and Azrul Raimie, Nossa’s defenders look to be unsettled. Late in the first half, a long free kick was awarded to CABJ which was taken by Norrizal. His floating freekick managed to deceived the goalkeeper to made a mistake which turn into a goal. 1-0 to CABJ. Thanks to Ahmed our big ‘AK 47’ forward who successfully distracted the goalkeeper to made a mistake. First half finished with CABJ leading 1-0.

Second half whistle blow, Nossa look to go all out attacking mode after bringing in some pacey winger with the light of CABJ’s junior, Rasyad and Riyasz (promising young winger). With that, we managed to stop both of them from creating chances. 15 minutes into the second half. A through ball to Azrul Raimie was excellent and CABJ's no 10 movement was brilliant. He tap the ball further than the defender which made the defender to commit a foul inside the penalty box. Penalty was awarded to CABJ which was calmly converted by Ahmed ‘AK 47’ Barakat. With 2-0 in our hand, we didn’t look back and kept on pucshing forward.

We continued to attack Nossa FC with our simple passes. Third goal did came along after awhile. After a mistake made by Nossa FC , the counter attack started from our backline which they managed to found Dzul Rahim in the middle of the park. Dzul Rahim’s lob pass above the defenders was excellent. Affendi, CABJ’s winger managed to slipped through Nossa’s defenders. He controlled the ball with his head and finished it with a cool ‘chip’ above the goalkeeper and into the net from a slightly impossible angle. Excellent team play by us CABJ and above all to score 3 well deserved goals. Late in the 2nd half, Nossa FC got a consolation goal after a corner kick that troubled CABJ’s backline and Nossa player did a tap in into the empty net.

Final score, 3-1 in favour to CABJ. We managed to go through to the quarter final stage and a match against USJ FT is set on 27th September 2014. USJ FT managed to beat the favourite of the tournament, Terrapins FC after they won the penalty shoot out.  All the best for both teams.

MUNRO INVITATIONAL FOOTBALL CUP 2014 : CABJ vs FC Lantun

Result: CABJ 2 - 5 Lantun FC

Stats:-
Goal scorer - Azrul Raimie (2)
Assist by - Affendi Amir, Azeez Azman

After the confirmation of going through to the next round, this is the match of which will decide which team will emerge on top of Group H. Lantun FC came in with enough preparation, thus managed to beat us. We lost 5-2 to Lantun FC which made them top of Group H with 9 points and CABJ with 6 points.

Even without a goalkeeper, CABJ managed to play the match with only 12 players available. Thanks to the help from Rahimi (ST), Azeez (ST) and Hariz (BolaBall FC’s goalie). The first goal scored by the opponent was unlucky as the ball pass through Rahimi arms. We managed to score 2 quick goals. The first of Azrul Raimie’s goal was set nicely to the path of CABJ's no 10 by Azeez after simple one two with Affendi. 1-1 equalizer. Second goal of Azrul Raimie was from a counter attack which deceived Lantun FC defenders. A long ball by Akif met Affendi who head the ball to Azrul Raimie’s path. CABJ's no 10 did excellently after beating 2 defenders to slot in the second goal. 2-1 CABJ leading the score.

Unfortunately, one of our senior and very much experienced player Shahzad was sent off after the assistant referee claimed that he saw Shahzad and a Lantun FC player fighting. Both teams were down to 10 men. In the dying minute of the first half, Johan made a slack by tackling Lantun’s winger inside the penalty box. Penalty to Lantun FC which was converted by their forward. 2-2. we managed to get a draw during the first half which both of the goals are unfortunately conceded.

During the second half, without any substitution, CABJ played their heart out but Lantun FC managed to score 3 goals pass Azeez and Hariz (2 goals and 1 goal respectively). Without first team defenders, long ball by Lantun were all successful which turned out to be goals. Referre blowed the final whistle, final score, 5-2 in favour to Lantun. Which means CABJ will be up against Nossa FC in the round of 16. Nossa FC is one of the team representing Bukit Jelutong beside CABJ and BolaBall FC.

LPS 2014: CABJ 0 - 1 BolaBall FC

Good day peeps. Last Saturday was a thrilling match. It's the long awaited Jelutong derby. CABJ vs BolaBall FC. BolaBall FC is a younger football team based in Bukit Jelutong just like CABJ. The match ended 1-0 in favor to BolaBall FC. CABJ played with their utmost but were unlucky. Just that because of one counter attack, BolaBall FC managed to score the winning goal from our left side that divided us. Both teams had their share of possession in the game. We tried to push hard for the equalizer with higher possession of the ball but our finisher weren't in their best form up front. Technically the season is over for CABJ but we'll definitely bounce back to get to our optimum performance back like we always do. Cheers lads.

LPS 2014: CABJ 0 - 0 Southern FC. Unlucky draw.

Hi peeps, matchday against Southern FC was held at Setia Alam Football Field in a rainy day. We all know what rainy day means, hard tackling. Luckily, the match was a success. There are few tackles occured but no serious challenge that result in a bar fight. About the gameplay, we (CABJ) certainly played a very good game after a very long time. We actually were attacking. The league leader only had a few chances most of them went wide. We created chances but the backline and the goalie of Southern FC did well to prevent us from getting goals. In the first half, Affendi Amir goal was disallowed as the referee call back for the handball made by Southern FC's centre back. Next chance was for Imran Mazli as Adly Saifullah cross found Ameer Aizat who creatively set the ball for Imran. Imran shot hit the woodwork and bounce back to Ameer Aizat but his shot was well wide over the crossbar. Then, at the end of the second half, we've pressed Southern FC as both teams searching for a goal. Akif Sharifuddin header was save by our ex player, Billy on the line. Freekick from both Raimie Razi and Norrizal was saved by their on form goalkeeper. We were satisfied with the match but a little bit disappointed  for not scoring any goal and take the three points. Cheers lads. Stay tuned for more insights :)

LPS 2014: TTDI FC 3 - 3 CABJ. The Gliders failed yet again to deliver a win.

Hi folks, sorry for not being able to continue posting our match report on time. But nonetheless, let's continue. The game started off at 3.30. It was a hot day and The Gliders started off with 10 players only. Two of our senior players played as well.
The game started of brilliantly as we scored the first goal. It was scored by Dzul Rahim from a deadball situation. We continued very well and managed to lead by 2 nil at the stroke of half time. This time, the goal was scored by our no. 10 Raimie Razi after a sublime through ball from Raizo. It was a clinical finish by the no. 10.
The second half commenced, due to complacency by our players the opponent managed to score to reduce the deficit to 1. Later on, we were in the lead after an easy goal from Rahimi Razak with a simple tap in. Right after that, the opponent took us by surprise by scoring a goal to make it 3-2. With only a few minutes left to play, the opponent eventually leveled the score by penalty. Mr. Referre awarded the penalty after Akif had challenged an aerial threat but somehow the ball flew staright to Syamil Yusof's hand. The opponent made full use of the opportunity and scored. It was a big blow for the Gliders as they could have secured a win but luck wasn't on their side. Stay tuned for more insights :)

LPS 2014: USJ Wanderers 3 - 2 CABJ. An unexpected lost

Hello everyone, sorry for not updating few matches as I'm too tied up with workload. After the defeat against FC Jelong Muda, CABJ are currently not in their best performance. After the defeat against FCJM, CABJ drew against Musang FC 1-1 and the only goal scored was from Ameer Aizat. CABJ also lost the next match against FT Chinese 3-2. The goals were scored by UngkuNazrin and Mohd Ruffie. The recent lost was the match against USJ Wanderers with the score ended 3-2. Goals scored by Muhd Akif and Mohd Ruffie.
So I'm just going to talk about the match against USJ Wanderers which was played last Sunday (6th April 2014). Both team played well during the first half. USJ Wanderers drew the first blood after a slight miscommunication between CABJ's defenders that let USJ Wanderers' right wing to tap in the goal after his volley was saved by Wan Ajmal. Muhd Akif somehow equalized before the first half whistle blow with a towering header from a corner kick took by myself. He was unmarked and the free header went into the net. The second half commenced, and Aminuddin (Manager) did few changes that cost us the loss of possession. After Fazreen Aziz lost the ball in the middle of the park, the left winger get the ball and shoot it to the bottom corner of the goal. He was free and no one even cared to close him down. It was an easy goal and nothing that Ajmal could do about it.
Later on, by unfortunate event, mr. referee wasn’t on our side which costs us to lose a player. Mr. referee showed the second yellow to our holding midfielder, Muhammad Imran after he was accused of kicking the opponent in a very messy situation in front of the opponent’s goal. The equalizer wasn't that far, after Mohd Ruffie was fouled outside the penalty box, I took the freekick and the ball rattled the post. Muhd Akif was fouled inside the penalty box in that situation. Mohd Ruffie stepped up and scored the penalty which equalized the scoreline. It's 2-2 on the scoresheet. It was late in the game, CABJ was attacking and unfortunately the ball lost in the opponent's penalty box that allowed them to counter attack. With that fast break from USJ Wanderers attackers, there's nothing that CABJ's defenders can do about it. Few tackles flying in, and finally they scored the winning goal. It was a very frustrating match. Mr. Referee clearly was not on our side. We gotta’ buck up and win our next match against TTDI FC. I'm not blaming the referee as we all know that they are not professionals.
Nevertheless, thanks to everyone who came and support CABJ. Your support is really appreciated! Please do come again on our next and upcoming matches as we promise to deliver the utmost performance for everyone. Thank you J

LPS 2014: CABJ 2-3 FT Chinese. Another setback.

The Gliders misery continued as match week six kicked off. The match was held at Universiti Malaya football field, and the opponent was FT Chinese. There was a slight miscommunication between organizer and teams. We came up early at 3pm, but found out that the game starts at 5pm.
Kick off. The pace of the game was fast. Both teams attacking both ends equally. As the game progressed, CABJ managed the possession. CABJ unlock the deadlock by scoring the first goal. The goal came from Ungku Nazrin with a sublime flying header. Muhammad Ruffie assisted the goal with a fine cross from the right flank. Merely after that, the opponent somehow managed to equalise by an unforeseen error that made us to 'pay the price'.
Later on the game they took the lead after a mistake from CABJ. we managed to equalised the score with a spot kick. it was given by mr. referee after a sliding tackle from the opponent in the penalty box. Muhammad Ruffie stepped up and took the kick himself.
In the dying moments, the opponent made full use of the attack and with that they were rewarded with a goal. Yet again The Gliders didn't managed to secure a win. Nonetheless, kudos to FT Chinese for the win they deserved. We'll bounce back for sure. Stay tune for more insights coming.

Sunday (16th February 2014), CABJ managed to secure another 3 points in a quite tough match against P9 FC. Last year, P9 FC was defeated 7-0 by CABJ in the FA Cup of Perangsang Selangor League. This time around, the newly constructed P9 FC lost 2-1 with goals from Ameer Aizat and Affendi Amir.

Early in the first half, both teams look promising with end to end attack. Both teams had a few chances but CABJ managed to control the match with higher ball possession. Mid-way through the first half, a throw in from Norizal Wazir found Ameer Aizat who dribbled past two defenders and slot it in for the first goal of the match. A minute later, under the hot sun, CABJ was punished after their lacks of concentration. A rocket long shot from P9 FC’s right wing was perfectly went in Wan Ajmal’s top right corner. The first half ended level as P9 FC equalized right after Ameer Aizat scored the first goal. It was his 2nd goal of the league for CABJ.

Second half started positively by CABJ. After Brian Nathan and Aminuddin Helmy shared their ideas on how to beat P9 FC defenders, the lads did well to follow the instructions given. Attempt after attempt, CABJ managed to get their winning goal after a great through ball from the middle of the park by ImranMazli, found Affendi Amir. His first touch managed to deceive both the centre back and goalkeeper to tap in into the empty net. CABJ looks to get a confident boost after that goal as the team go all out on attacking. Chances came for Dzul Rahim and Azhar Aizat but they didn’t manage to get in the score sheet.

CABJ settled with a 2-1 scoreline in a well fought match against P9 FC. CABJ remains at the top spot of Perangsang Selangor League as Southern FC creeping close. Man of the match was given to Ameer Aizat after the lad shows a very promising performance. Ameer Aizat look determine to carry CABJ to another league title this year.

LPS 2014: FCJm 7-0 CABJ, Humiliated. Big time!

Matchday 5, against a strong squad FC Jelong Muda (our biggest rival). We've been beaten 7-0. Devastating. Not a good day for everyone as we played very bad allowing their players to burst through into our defends and scored an easy goals. Too easy that spoiled our gameplay since the first 15 minutes. We can't even get our game back together. Although we had a few chances, we didn't managed to score any consolation goal. Sad ending to the weekend. We'll bounce back strong enough. Everyone will try to improve on their gameplay before our next game. Cheers lads.

LPS 2014: CABJ 0-0 Warren FC, A Frustrating Evening That Ended with a Stalemate.

It was a day where the gliders must produce a win because last season the gliders were forced to a draw from the opposing team. The game started of with both sides having their chances to score, but unfortunately luck was not on both sides.
In the dying moments, CABJ were handed a penalty because the opposing team had fouled in the penalty box. Affendi Amir was the man who stepped up to take the kick. But, unfortunately Affendi Amir missed, and also he come up short on the rebound with a direct header to the hands of the keeper. The goalkeeper was then handed the motm(man of the match) because of the save.
It was a frustrated evening for the lads as they come up with a goalless draw. Nevertheless, the Gliders will keep on fighting to the end and hopefully everything will be fine.

LPS 2014: CABJ 3-2 SA City, CABJ Sealed their Second Win

The anticipated meeting between CABJ and SA City FC on a very hot afternoon. An excellent match-up between two excellent teams. Both teams needed a win to secure their place in the league standings.

The game ended with CABJ scoring 3 goals. 1st goal came from Norrizal Wazir. It was a freekick taken by him that forced SA City's goalkeeper blunder to fumble the ball into his own net. The 2nd goal came from Ameer Aizat, it was a through ball to him but yet again the ball fumble between goalie and the defender and Ameer Aziat punished them for that. The 3rd goal was from Azhar Aizat our latest edition to the squad. He lobbed the ball from the goalkeeper that rushed outside the penalty box to recover the ball.

Both of SA City's goals came from set pieces. one was a direct freekick that bolted onto the top of the net, and the other was a fumble by our goalkeeper Zaid Zainal that enabled them to score.

CABJ were on the back of the seat trying to get a hold of the game as SA City pushed hard in search for another goal. Fortunately, luck was on CABJ's side as the referee blew the final whistle that ended the game with the score of 3-2. Nevertheless, it was a win for CABJ as they cruise within the standings with 2 wins out of 2 games. Even though the race for champion is still far from finish, CABJ is adamant that if they continue to win and not to drop points, in the end they will prosper.

Final Score: CABJ 3-2 SA City
Scorer: Norrizal Wazir, Ameer Aizat, Azhar Aizat

LPS 2014: B8FC 0-1 CABJ, CABJ Opened The Season with a Narrow Win

It has begun, it was the first match and the much anticipated game between two rivals has been set and staged. Both teams wanted to draw first blood and CABJ yet again proved to be the better side with a 1-0 win over B8 FC.

The scorer was from our influential midfielder Dzul Rahim after he received a "flick" of the ball from our very own striker "Gaza Hitman" Ahmed. Dzul Rahim scored the goal with a thunderous strike of the ball and it was bolted onto the top of the net.
B8 suffered more misery after their centreback Arif Rani was shown the red after he had collected the second yellow.

It was a job well done for the Gliders. Nonetheless, a tribute to our 2 new players that performed fantastically and for Fazreen Aziz a.k.a "Paen Gunnerz" was awarded the MOTM.
This win was a good morale booster for the Gliders as they prepare for the upcoming second game against none other than SA City.

Final score: CABJ 1-0 B8FC
MOTM: Fazreen Aziz
