Friendly Report (CABJ 2-1 FA TTDI Jaya): The Gliders on Winning Streak

CABJ has a extended their winning streak to three wins in a row. Having scored already 13 goals, conceding only three goals in the last four games, which they won three of them, the Gliders are now looking more confident on the pitch. 

Soon after the kick-off, CABJ started their attacks which produced an early chance for Azrul Raimie Razi to score the opener followed by a wide shot from Muhammad Rahimi Razak. A goal by FA TTDI Jaya from a quick counter attack shocked the defenders a moment later. FA TTDI Jaya's forward broke CABJ's offside trap and placed the ball nicely to beat Mohd Zaid Zainal.

Losing by a single goal early in the first half, the Gliders tried to get an equaliser by attacking the opponent's goal. The effort paid off as Zurin Adra Azhar scored the first goal for CABJ when he took advantage of the defender's mistake.

Continuing the fighting spirit right after the equaliser, CABJ then scored the second goal. A through ball from Azrul Raimie found Aminuddin Helmy Besar in the penalty box on one  on one situation. Amin scored the winner after the first was saved by the goalkeeper. "An honour to play alogside Azrul Raimie. Superb vision." said Amin on his Twitter page.

The game then went on in balance with no more goals from both side. FATJ earned a penalty late in the third half where Wan Ajmal Dato' Wan Abdullah denied the equaliser.

Friendly Report (CABJ 6-0 Wolf FC): Hakim is Getting Back, Raimie Scored Twice

A good turn up on the friendly match

After a 4-0 win over 7 FC, the Gliders are in a very high spirit of going into the Munro League 2013. 26 players came to Mini Stadium for the game which shows everyone is eyeing on the first team place.

First Half: Azrul Raimie Razi, who has not been scoring for six months for the club, opened the scoring line from a low shot assisted by Zurin Adra Azhar. Then came Ahmed Barakat to claim his goal who score from a close range after a corner kick by Aminuddin Helmy Besar dropped in front of his feet.

On the second half, Ungku Nazrin Hakim showed that he is ready for a comeback when he scored a goal after laying off for more than one year due to knee injury (ruptured ACL). A through ball passed Wolf's defender by M Ameer Aizat Abd Jalil created a space for the striker to score his goal. Mentioning about a comeback Johan Arif Josmin also put his name on the scoreline assisted by Dzul Rahim Roseli. Not long after that, M Ameer Aizat scored the fifth goal of the night from the edged of the penalty box.

Coming into the third half, our manager Brian Nathan played alongside the players an even put his name as one of the assisting players when he passed the final ball to Azrul Raimie for the sixth goal.

It shows the Gliders are coming back on track and played as how they should play.

Training: Preparation for Munro League 2013

The Gliders on Training

As a preparation for the Munro League 2013, CABJ players are working hard on the training ground to gain fitness.

The training that was held on Tuesday night showed the commitment they are giving for the upcoming league.

Zurin Adra Azhar, the President of the club was delighted to see such attendance and said "A good turn up during training last night (Tuesday night). I see a better team this year after knowing  our captain Muiz Raof and Ungku Nazrin Hakim is back with the team after missing the whole season last year. On top of that, CABJ new players like Ahmed Barakat and Umarul Hakeem Fadzullah will definitely strengthen the whole team. We've got two more friendly matches to play and we'll be set for the league. All the best Gliders!

Looking at the manager's point of view, Brian Nathan said " The boys are looking forward to the league and you can see it in the commitment showed during training. And also, the new boys in the team are really putting a fight for a starting position. This is good for the team as the regular players won't take things for granted and think they are an automatic choice in the team. Am really looking forward to be involved in the Munro League and the challenges that are awaiting us."

Friendly Report (CABJ 4-0 7 FC): Ruffie and Dzul scored, Rahimi double

With a loss on the previous week, the Gliders needed to wake up due to the upcoming Munro League in February to make the team into a good shape. By having a training on the week before the friendly match, CABJ came into with a better level of fitness. 

Early in the first half, Muhd Ruffie Abdul Aziz score the first goal when he received a through ball from Aminuddin helmy Besar from the left side of the pitch. He placed the ball neatly on the bottom corner of the far post.

Not long after that, Ahmed Barakat was fouled at the edge of the penalty area. Dzul Rahim Roseli stood up and scored a from a free kick.

The second half showed a goalless action with attacks from both teams.

During the third half, Muhammad Rahimi Razak marked his double. His first goal was assisted by Ahmed, and the second goal was from a mistake of 7 FC's defender.

Final Score: CABJ 4-0 7 FC

Friendly Report (CABJ 1-2 TenSix FC): First Loss on The First Game of 2013

CABJ opened the fresh new season of 2013 with a loss to TenSix FC on the 5th of January with a scoreline of 1-2.

TenSix scored the opener through a counter attack early in the first half and maintained their lead. The game was in balance with both teams had hard times to control the ball on a muddy pitch.

On the second half, Azrul Raimie Razi was fouled in a penalty box which the penalty was converted by Aminuddin Helmy besar to equalise.

Late on the third half, TenSix scored the winner through another counter attack. The game finished at 1-2.

Match Preview: CABJ v FC Jelong Muda

Happy New Year 2013 Gliders!!

As we welcome 2013, a friendly match has been set for the preparation of CABJ's upcoming Munro League Season 2013. 

Recap on the first clash between these two teams was during the Munro Knockout Tournament in 2012 where they met in the semi finals which resulted  a scoreline of FC Jelong Muda 2-CABJ 0.

The club & team look forward for a great relationship carried with respect from both side of teams as regardless how rivals can be, it is a different spirit when they are in the same pitch.
