Gliders Welcome New Coach, Muhammad Ruffie Abdul Aziz

After years of supporting from a far, home boy Muhammad Ruffie landed back to Malaysia from the UK volunteering as one of Club Atletico De Bukit Jelutong’s coach. Completing the in field addition of coaches together with CABJ’s Manager, Brian Nathan. Ruffie is set and ready to help out the team hopefully for more years to come.
Muhammad Ruffie was away when the club was in a midst of establishing as he was furthering his studies at University of Bedforshire graduating in Football Studies.

In the UK, Ruffie has been exposed in playing and coaching football and now with his comeback, we hope CABJ will be a great platform for him to expose gliders to what he have gained there.

CABJ on the other hand are delightful to finally have their own coach who to some, a familiar face to see. During the last 6 months after the retirement of coach Safrizal and especially during the Tune Talk Safee Sali League last 2 months, CABJ faced few hurdles in their training regime until a few gliders such as Azrul Raimie, Ungku Nazrin and Muizz Raof stepped up to temporary help out Manager Brian Nathan in the infield trainings. Though the hurdles occurred in many desperate ways and moments for CABJ to go through the cup championship, they still managed to bring home a medal being the Plate Champion of the Tune Talk Safee Sali League 2012

And as Ruffie’s arrival bring us joy and another add on in the Gliders family, it is also believed that with Brian Nathan working hand to hand with him, the ingredients of a better victory might  be waiting for CABJ soon enough.

“I have always been a glider at heart because being here when you guys started building the club made me feel like it is part of me when I was away. So finally being home, especially being a part of where the club is now makes me feel proud. I now can contribute to the club with what I have gained from playing and coaching in the UK and with that I hope that the team will get to higher ground not only on the field but off the field as well. I believe that those who are willing to learn and improve will succeed and that is what I want to do for CABJ!” said Ruffie earlier today.

Welcome back home Ruffie and Welcome again to the family.
