Tune Talk Safee Sali Community League : Unleash the Great Gliders!

From our last report, we ourselves were wondering who the 3rd person is or in what they call the KUKU BESI that will be assisting Azrul Raimie and Ungku Nazrin in their first ever challenge to manage the team during the Tune Talk Safee Sali Community League selected by Brian Nathan.
During Tuesday training, we were brought to a pleasant surprise when we saw CABJ’s Captain Muhammad Muizz Raof who has been on a break for nearly 6 months from an ACL surgery. When we saw him he was standing without a crutch, able to walk with his own two legs and better still, standing beside Raimie, Ungku Nazrin and Brian Nathan to train the players.
Yes our dear readers, our Captain is back only with a different role this time as he is THE KUKU BESI  that will be joining the managerial team for the Tune Talk Safee Sali League.
Muhammad Muizz Raof is one of our finest most committed player guarding the midfield and usually is the main voice of the team in the field. He is still looking for a few more months of rest before he heads back in the field to play.
“Glad to be back and hope that we can redeem ourselves in the next  match, insyaallah” Muhammad Muizz Raof
An intense agility training was held and as mentioned by Raimie, the leadership element was held in it too only this time, the coach and Managers ensures that training should be something they enjoy doing hence the fun was stirred in the ingredients of the module conducted and showed many faces filled with hope and smiles.

Also CABJ would like to welcome our new player who came all the way from Kota Kemuning,  Norrizal Bin Wazir  @ Raizo. Raizo have just registered to CABJ and will start showing off his talent in the upcoming trainings with hopes of getting a spot in this league or in future leagues to come.

CABJ is now in its 2nd round of the Tune Talk Safee Sali League and will again meet MyMAnUTD this Saturday At Setia Alam (D) 5:30pm.

Tune Talk Safee Sali League : Brian Wants out?

In what was arguably the most intense League ever since the establishment of CABJ, there are plenty of talking points about different provisional managers' to spearhead CABJ in the Tune Talk Safee Sali Community League.
After the disappointing lost against Rotikaya last week, CABJ placed itself to the lowest of the table in the outfit having the same points like Team Arsenal Supporters (TASM), with no win but one draw.

During the match against ROTIKAYA.com CABJ was defeated with a final score of CABJ – 1 Rotikaya – 2

Rotikaya scored the first goal during the 2nd half of the goal then a throw in by Fendi Amir which landed in the penalty box when Adly Saifullah jumped for the high ball and tapped it to goal, equalized the game during the 3rd half. His effort was then wasted when Rotikaya scored another goal 10 mins after.
It's a constant debate in football on exactly how much impact a manager has on his team: is it them, the 11 players on the pitch or both who decide a team's victories and defeats?
Recently, CABJ’s Coach also Manager Brian Nathan, announced that he has selected 2 individuals who are currently on a break from the infield matches of CABJ to lead the team during the whole season of the Tune Talk Safee Sali League.
“This will help nurture these individuals who are currently demotivated by their injuries and still have the determination to stand with the team through all the winning and lose.” Brian Nathan
CABJ’s President, Zurin Adra said that “this is what makes CABJ what it is, giving hope and opportunity to each individual to excel in any part of football”
Brian Nathan also stressed that these managers will still be under his umbrella and the team will still undergo the training sessions with him.
The two manager selected was Ungku Nazrin Hakim who encountered a terrible injury during the Pre Season League last year and are now looking at 8 more months of recovery. By his side, is none other than one of our main pillar in CABJ, Vice President Azrul Raimie Razi who is also now in a recovery stage from an injury during a friendly match against MBPJ a few months ago.
When we interviewed Azrul Raimie last Saturday, he mentioned that “We will try and conduct intense training this week and to also build some leadership skills in each individual so that during hard times in the field, they can start to step up. However, this will not only take a week to mould the team, it might take time. We just hope with the bond we once had, we could all mend it together.
When spoke to Raimie and Hakim, they also mentioned about a 3rd person helping them out managing the team soon. They said, "this person will  be more of a “KUKU BESI” than us which you will soon see."
We wonder who will it be and we look forward to know the little surprises they bring to make the teams stronger. All the best Managers of the league and team! Hawwush!

Tune Talk Safee Sali Community League : "Stale Like Yesterday's Nasi Lemak"

Should you be wondering if there is a mistake in the translated tweet we highlighted above by Midfielder Shamil Yusoff, you wondered wrong as we couldn’t agree more. After the defeat by MyManUTD in CABJ’s first game of the Tune Talk Safee Sali Community League, our gliders faced not another defeat but a disappointing final score from its recent match against Team Arsenal Supporters Malaysia last Saturday.

With its final score of CABJ – 1 TASM – 1, the gliders were seen rather very quiet after the game. Tweets from CABJ’s defender Billy Lee also mentioned “Not the result we wanted” explained the reason why our gliders were in a very frustrated situation after the game.

CABJ now stands in the last position together with TASM of the league's outfit having Roti Kaya.com placing first followed by MyManutd second. CABJ and TASM shares the same placing with a similar points of 0 win.

During the first half of the game, possession falls onto TASM. Even then, CABJ seemed determined to attack as Fendi Amir strives for a goal by a long shot from the centre of the field.

Our set piece takers also seemed to be making simple shootout mistakes causing a waste of goal opportunity to CABJ. During the game analysis night a day after the game, player Amin Helmy stressed out his concerns not to take set pieces for granted as it increases potential for goals.

And there it was when TASM scored its first goal from a free kick in the first half leading the game to CABJ – 0 TASM – 1.

A yellow card was then waved to Amin Helmy causing a minor foul to TASM player.
A better tempo were seen during the second half as it started with clean short passes and earned CABJ its first corner kick in the second half taken by Ameer Aizat, however his effort was saved by TASM goalkeeper

CABJ managed then to equalize the game having Ikram Al Rasyid controlling the ball from the right side of the field till the goal box and passed it over to Firdaus Samsuddin who then scored the goal for CABJ through the left edge of the goal. This is Firdaus’ second game with CABJ after months, as he is now on a study break and will be with us for three months before he flies back to the States.

During the 3rd half, defender Syed Shahril was given a yellow card forcing the team to take on a risky free kick by TASM minutes before the end of the game but was brilliantly saved by our goalkeeper, Wan Ajmal.

We hope for a better play next weekend as CABJ needs to focus, earn points soon and to keep their eyes on the prize. The Tune Talk Safee Sali Community League is CABJ's  4th league participation since its establishment last year.

Tune Talk Safee Sali League : The Lost Touch of Football

After two weeks of break from the X – Elite league, CABJ is now participating in Tune Talk Safee Sali League organized by Planetfootball. Teams participating in the league are
Tanamera Reds, Goms FC, SS10, Air Crew, Southern, Corleone, Formasi, FC FC, Roti Kaya.com, TASM (Arsenal Malaysia), Mymanutd FC, Sapura Industrial, Shah Alam FC, KSR PNB and FBCM (Barcelona Malaysia)

CABJ is in the C group together with mymanutd FC, RotiKaya.com, and TASM. Last Saturday marked our first game against MyManutd FC at Setia Alam Field. Mymanutd FC who recently won the Supporters Champion League Malaysia (SCLM) defeated CABJ with a final score of CABJ – 1 MYMANUTD – 3

During the recent match of the Tune Talk Safee Sali League, CABJ’s forward, Fendi Amir scored a goal in the second half of the game, through a beautiful free kick from the edge of the box curled to the top corner of the goal making the scoreboard to CABJ – 1 MYmanUTD – 2 and gave hope to the team to equalize the game.

During the 2nd half brief, CABJ Coach, Brian Nathan expressed his disappointments tothe team and motivated them that they could still win this.

Though it was a great weather, and the field was in its best grow, CABJ failed to prevail its the match against MYManUTD. It was upsetting to see some players who have lost their touch in the football field since CABJ’s last game two weeks ago such as our goal keeper Wan Ajmal and Adly Saifullah.

CABJ’s President, Zurin Adra advised the team to buck up and to take training and fitness as a crucial part of being a CABJ player.
In the next game of the Safee Sali League, CABJ will be facing another supporter team which is Team Arsenal (TASM) Saturday, 19th May 2012 5pm at Setia Alam.
