Al-Falah FC 2-5 CABJ - Report

The Gliders' first back to back win in 105 days made its benchmark with a great comeback from 2-1 down. Having scored three goals in the third half showed the improvement of physical and mental strength of the team.

Bukit Jelutong started strongly with their attacks with two Zurin Adra Azhar's wild shots went wide on the first and sixth minute respectively. But he made an opening later on, giving himself a chance to break the defends line. With a one-on-one situation, he unselfishly squared the ball for Azrul Raimie Razi to score the opening goal in the 13th minute.

Al-Falah FC did not wait long enough to score the equaliser when they took the chance after a defensive mistake by CABJ, just two minutes after they scored the opening goal. The Gliders then tried to put themselves on the lead again with Ikram Al-Rashid's shot saved by the goalkeeper.

Going into the second half, a chance was created by CABJ for Ikram but his shot was saved comfortably by the goalkeeper. The Gliders was unable to make threatening attacks during the second half. Their vulnerable defendsive display was punished when Al-Falah FC's playmaker scored from the edge the penalty box with a superb shot into the top corner in the 35th minute.

Losing the lead and being down to a goal, Bukit Jelutong created another chance. Starting from the right flank, Muhammad Wildan Abdul Hamid's low cross met Zurin but his wild shot flew wide. However, in the 42nd minute, a one-two pass by Adi Wahyudi Kamal and Wildan managed to find Raimie where the playmaker's solo effort, twisting and turning around the defenders before scoring the equaliser for Bukit Jelutong.

On the third half, the Gliders look more confident with their first attack winning a corner kick. The super-sub Muhammad Rahimi Razak scored an astonishing goal with a half after Raimie's corner kick found him inside the area in the 50th minute. Four minutes later, Muhammad Imran Ahmad Mazli's shot went off target when he was left alone by the opponent's defender.

The confidence build up after their comeback and it's proven when Rahimi again scored the fourth goal for Bukit Jelutong in the 56th minute. The goalkeeper Zaid Zainal's long kick found Rahimi at the other end, and the striker's lob beating the goalkeeper and went into the back of the net. In the 58th minute, Ungku Nazrin Hakim Unku Abdul Shukor's cross found Raimie at the six-yard box but his header went over the bar.

The Gliders showed that they were hungry for goals when Ungku Nazrin sealed the victory with a calm finish into the near post, assisted by a searching cross by Wildan. Muizz Raof's nasty tackle has made himself booked by the referee.

Friendly Match: Team Cikgu 1-2 CABJ - Report

The Gliders opened their first match after Aidilfitri with a 2-1 win over Team Cikgu, a group of teachers from Klang.

The first half of the game was helter-skelter as both teams struggled to find their rhythm after almost a month of absence from the field.

Nonetheless, the Gliders were able to find openings when Azrul Raimie Razi managed to make couple of shots but these shot were all thwarted and could not be converted into goals. Ungku Nazrin also attempted a long range shot was again denied by Lady Luck.

The tables turned for CABJ during the second half when they managed to score the opening goal from a free kick. The free kick was converted into a goal when Raimie's cross managed to lure the goal keeper out of his position. Taking advantage of this, Adi Wahyudi receive the cross with a header to the net.

Team Cikgu equalised when the Gliders defence was not able to deflect their shot at goal. Throughout the remainder of the second half, CABJ lack of cohesiveness failed to give them the advantage over Team Cikgu.

Bukit Jelutong's true form finally emerged during the third half of the game. A more coordinated gameplay was evinced by the Gliders control of the game this period.

Even so, CABJ never did to convert any of their attempts at goal during the early minutes.  With the Gliders controlling the game, it was all Team Cikgu could do to defend their goal.

CABJ was finally rewarded when Ameer Aizat outran the defender and ended it with a shot that was deflected the goalkeeper. The deflected ball met Zurin Adra's foot and taking advantage of this, he scored the winning goal for Bukit Jelutong.

Scorer(s): Adi Wahyudi Kamal, Zurin Adra Azhar
