Friendly Match: Wangsterdam CF 5-3 CABJ - Report

CABJ failed to make it six in a row when they lost to Wangsterdam CF 5-3 at a match held at Shah Alam Mini Stadium.

With the absence of all CABJ's centre backs, the Gliders were threatened early on in the first half. Even so, CABJ managed to scored the opening goal with a simple tap in by Muhammad Firdaus after a long through ball by Ikram Al-Rashid. Wangsterdam retaliated and took advantage of CABJ's short coming by scoring two goals before the end of the first half.

Going into the second half, the Gliders managed to score an equaliser when Indera Adeputra curled the ball to the back of the net from a corner kick. Azrul Raimie missed a one-on-one chance when his shot was wide. The score stayed at 2-2 by the end of the second half.

The third proved to be the downfall for the Gliders when Wangsterdam took advantage of CABJ's slack attitude in defending to scorethree goals in 10 minutes. A late goal by Khairul Azhar could not turn the tide for CABJ.
